Op til den store GDPR dag den 25. maj var der en del forvirring om hvorvidt  samtykkeerklæringer skulle fornys, for at virksomheden fremadrettet måtte udsende markedsføringmateriale f.eks e-mails. Det resulterede i, at mange kunder modtog en del mails fra diverse virksomheder.

 

Nu hvor vi har passeret den 25. maj og de fleste virksomheder har fået styr på deres samtykkeerklæringer, er der et andet spørgsmål, der melder sig på: Hvor mange virksomheder er klar over, at de skal gemme dokumentation i op til 2 år efter, at virksomheden sidst har benyttet et samtykke til at sende markedsføringmateriale?

 

Du skal som virksomhed kunne dokumentere dine samtykkeerklæringer indtil 2 år efter, at f.eks den sidste e-mail er sendt til en nyhedsbrevsmodtager. Det vil sige at virksomheden skal opbevare dokumentation for, at der er givet samtykke i 2 år efter, at et samtykke er trukket tilbage.

Den 19. marts deltog Fluid A/S i FDIH´s konference om Datadrevet Markedsføring og Persondataforordningen. Dagen var fyldt med spændende indlæg, om hvordan man bliver klar til den nye GDPR lov træder i kraft den 25. maj.

Is your company ready for the new EU Personal Data Regulation (GDPR)?

With New Years just around the corner, we enter an exciting year where GDPR is at the top of the agenda in all companies. The question is, how ready is your company to handle customer data?
Back in September, IT Branchen, together with Ezenta, asked 104 companies if they were ready for the new personal data regulation. This was the answer they received from the companies:
26.1% have not started classifying their data
20.2% have not begun to uncover where their data is located and in what form
38.8% do not have data processing agreements with their external partners
31.7% have not begun adapting their technical measures
44.7% have not started with awarenes training for the employees

The year that passed

Fluid held a Christmas get together for their customers
As per tradition every year we invite our customers for a Christmas get together on a farm outside Copenhagen. It’s a cozy afternoon with the Christmas spirit in mind and where we can meet our customers in a relaxed informal environment with their families over a glass of mulled wine and wish them Merry Christmas and thank them for their cooperation and the year that has passed.

BigMac Bingo with over 200.000 unique participants

Fluid have developed the Data Management Platform, which made it possible for over 200,000 unique 2017 participants to use McDonald’s Big Mac bingo game. Through the App you can win a discount, free burgers or merchandise. The prizes were shown as vouchers that could be swiped at the restaurants.
The database had been developed at Fluid, so the chain’s many partners could easily access the right data at the right time. This way they could follow the participants and the development, in addition to redeeming the prizes.
